CERAMIC HOTPLATE: The hotplate is made of mineralized ceramic glass with a heat resistance of up to 800 °C. Despite its high heat resistance, ceramic glass can be damaged by mechanical impact.
INSTALLATION: Place a heat-resistant sealing cord or gasket between the ceramic hotplate and its supporting structure. The ceramic hotplate does not need to be mechanically fixed.
CARE: Clean the ceramic surface only after it has cooled. Dried dirt and food residue can be removed with a suitable ceramic-glass scraper. Then clean with a neutral detergent, rinse and dry with a clean cloth. Melted sugar, plastic and aluminium foil must be removed immediately while the surface is still warm. Do not use abrasive cleaners, oven cleaners or stain removers.
