The frame-free cooktop is made of cast iron. Cast iron is a traditional material for fireplaces and cookers due to its excellent heat resistance and dimensional stability under temperature changes.
FINISH: The cast-iron parts are coated with two-component Thermodur 600 heat-resistant paint, which withstands temperatures up to 600 °C. Ensure good ventilation during the first few firings.
CERAMIC HOTPLATES: The cooktop is equipped with ceramic hotplates. Ceramic glass has high heat resistance but can be damaged by mechanical impact.
CARE: Clean the product only after it has cooled. Cast-iron parts can be wiped with a soft cloth lightly moistened with cooking oil. Clean the ceramic hotplates with a cleaner suitable for ceramic glass and, when necessary, a ceramic-glass scraper. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
